Microbiology Technician

Our client is an established cosmetics company and is looking for a Microbiology Technician to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20 - $26/hr dependent on experience Position Overview:
The Microbiology Technician will work in the lab conducting microbiological and chemical testing on raw materials and finished cosmetics products.
The Microbiology Technician will maintain proper lab documentation and data.
Responsibilities of the Microbiology Technician:
Perform cell culturing, environmental monitoring, bacterial isolation, and identification Prepare media and solutions Conduct wet chemistry tests including pH, viscosity, and color testing Address quality issues and customer complaints Utilize aseptic technique and follow all company rules and regulations Qualifications for the Microbiology Technician:
0 to 3 years of experience in either an academic or professional lab Completed academic lab courses in biology and chemistry Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment Strong communication and organization skills Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry or related science is highly preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
